The artist studied art in the studios of the Mimar Sinan Universty of Painting and Sculpture Association in Istanbul-Turkey.

She has started her art life in 1984 by oil painting ‘’seascapes  and woman flgures’’, than she started creating her bronze and glass sculptures which became a whole with her paintings .

She had series of personal painting .....

She has started her art life in 1984 by oil painting ‘’seascapes  and woman flgures’’, than she started creating her bronze and glass sculptures which became a whole with her paintings .

She had series of personal painting and sculpture exhibitions and is being attending to museum Exhibitions,Art Fair and Biennales worldwide.

Now she is concentrated on glass sculptures,she uses kilncasting  technique,regarded as one of unique glass techniques reflecting the beauty of glass,is the process of building the mold of the model,loading it with glass and firing it in the kiln.

The elaborate glass figures designed by Emel Vardar were delicately produced by Artist own glass work shop and the Glass Furnace,Turkey’s international glass center.

She is using various materials in her sculptures.Such as bronze,glass,steel,polyester,fabric and applying differend technics.

The artist describes her work as follows’’My sculptures exhibit calm and cool beauties.Only a very careful observer can hear their melody.’’

She belives woman are the symbol of the eternal beauty.She is thinking not only about their physical beauty,but their emotional world’s richness,and emphasing the’’Woman’s power’’while she creates her sculptures.

She idealize the woman as beautiful,elegant,proud and confident.And in the time soft and gentle.

She continues to create her art pieces Eylul art Gallery in Istanbul Which she owns since 1993.
